Home Project - August 2019 - Renders

Home being built in Layton, Utah.  Created construction documents as well as a few renders to give the client an idea of what the finish home should look like.  Used ArchiCAD for the documents and 3D modeling and Twinmotion for the render.  Exterior walls were 6" ICF's by Amvic for greater energy efficiency and strength, the front and rear porches are also an ICF system by Quad-Lock for slabs that allows for a tied monolithic type structure from wall to the slab for waterproofing and strength. 

We are open for new home design and construction documents projects.  Also looking for any PUD or mother-in-law separate dwelling units on existing lots.  I am associated with a Design-Build construction company Thorup Building to help make things easier.

EVG 3D panel system designed house for Emigration Canyon.  With the Panel system it has a 2 hr fire rating for the walls and roof so in the canyon the fire danger is minimized over other  structure and finishes. The house is surrounded by concrete and is a solid structure.

I am available for projects!

I am an Architectural Designer and ArchiCAD Specialist. My experience includes dental offices, assisted living, small commercial, religious,  education,  retail, mixed use, and multi and single family.
My projects are in Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming and California.
I worked with owners, engineers and managed other designers and architects.
Worked with IBC and California Building codes, doing code analysis for multi family, medical office, medical buildings and other commercial projects.

Recent project with DEIV Architecture.  A medical office building in Utah I designed   I managed engineers to get things coordinated.  I modeled and created the construction documents with ArchiCAD.  Renders were done in Lumion.

Home in Emigration Canyon  I worked with the architect and the home owners to create this design.  I did the modeling and construction documents.   It can also be seen in the web browser HERE

Medical Office Building in Kaysville I worked with the owners and the architect to design this building.  Includes two medical office suites with one already designed for a dental office.

Assisted Living in Tooele.  I created many of the drawings for this project, worked on answering comments from the state health department and city concerning building permits.  Over 70 bed assisted living facility.
